The story so far...
Im a 21 year old MC, and im mixed race, English and Lebaneese.Im also currently finishing a law degree at UKC. Ive been writing for about 6 years and performing for the last 3. Decided i wanted to make some hiphop that relates to current events and the current political climate of modern society!

Why this name?
El is a middle-name, passed down through my family, to the first born son of each generation.
Do you play live?
Been perfoming at hip-hop nights for the last 3 years. Most memorable one was performing the warm-up set when Lisa Maffia came down to UKC.
Also two time UKC Rap Battle Champion! Undefeated!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet allows up-coming artists the chance to break into the field. It gives a chance for music that may only have ever been heard by a few to be avalible to millions!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, ive got something to say, and if being signed means more people will hear, then lets get signed!
Band History:
I stated mc'ing in 1999, at around 15. Have put together 3 albums, including one for Dark Hawks, my group. (Also on soundclick). Since moving to uni, i have decided to also produce a album on my own, of my own material.
Your influences?
Influenced mostly by Immortal Technique. It was listening to him that made me realise that there was so much more to hip-hop. Also influnced by Big Punisher, Big L and Big pun!
