ABYSSMEN

Abyss n.:bottomless gulf; that which cannot be measured.

A.B.Y.S.S. (A Band of Young Swift Soloists) is more than a music group, it's a family. Consisting of seven lyricists (Black Gotti, Shake Gilla, P-Nal, Blac Mist, Blackju, Calico Smoke, and A-Kilah), a production team (ABYSS Music Production) and management (ABYSS Entertainment). So that makes a total of eight acts; one as an entire group and seven solo acts.

Being that members' roots lie in such diverse parts of this country (i.e. New York, Chicago, Kansas City, Virginia, Michigan, California, Louisiana, and Hawaii) each member is able to offer distinct insight to help create a cultivate this unique and universal sound. Formed in Hawaii, the ABYSSMEN have been making moves as a clique since 1994, recording music with their own equipment, and releasing their first single "Whats A Party with out Us?" and first full length album "Night crawlers" independently. Opening shows for artists like Too Short, Raekon, E-40, Black Rob, and Das Efx to name a few.

The Music Speaks for itself.

The Songs solely produced by the ABYSSMEN invite you into the life, ideas and ideals of A.B.Y.S.S. Presented in truth & delivered with an unpredicted fluidity, A.B.Y.S.S. breaks the mold of the monotonous and mediocre. By not setting limits, A.B.Y.S.S. music productions have provided R&B tracks for aspiring artist and with a helping hand from D.J CRS, remixed a number of songs with jingle. It goes without saying, A.B.Y.S.S. is among the cream...

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Through creating easily-accessible avenues of marketing and product distribution thereby giving a greater number of people a broader selection of products to choose from.
