New 2006 EP out!

I have a new EP out, "J'aime", and it can be streamed full-length (and eventually downloaded) on my page at http://www.last.fm/music/josh+gray
Just go to albums, and preview it. You have to have a free account, though, but it's simple enough to get.

Acoustic stuff from a guy in Louisville. Oh, there's also some electronic stuff in there.
Do you play live?
I occasionally play live. My schedule doesn't always allow for it. I play for friends, mostly. Who doesn't enjoy performing?
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, it makes obtaining and listening to music a whole lot easier. Now, anyone with a voice and a mic on his or her computer can get music out there for everyone to listen to. It opens up a whole new set of possibilities.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they offer, and it's a good deal, hells yeah.
Band History:
Josh started playing guitar in September of 2004, and picked up his father's old acoustic in May of the following year. His brother took that guitar along with him to camp for the entire summer, so Josh was left with his cheap electric guitar. He tried to write a few songs on it, but it just didn't sound the same without an acoustic. He obtained his own acoustic later that summer, and polished up the song he had already finished. Then he sat down and wrote another song in 5 hours. Over the following few weeks, he wrote "The Storm", and continued from there.

He writes songs about his girlfriend, his emotions, and life in general.
Your influences?
I sound like myself. The music I write is usually centered around love, and when I play for people, it's acoustic. The biggest influence on how i play would have to be Dave Matthews.
Equipment used:
Recording, I have a whole host of instruments and effects, but when I perform, I use my Takamine electric/acoustic, and whatever I can plug it into.
