The band made their first public performance in 2003... Since then, much has changed... including the band name, from Shearwater to Ajanta. Ajanta now play a blend of blues hard rock with experimental edges. Ajanta recorded their first demo in 2005 and look to continue writing and performing their own original material and wish to begin performing outside of yorkshire, and to get their music heard by as many people as possible...
