Biofactory is actually a combination of styles but mostly a modernized psychedelic sound. Used to have other group members but right now at the moment I'm a one man band and record from my little home studio.
Why this name?
Well, it was either Effex or Biofactory and this site said Effex was taken.
Do you play live?
I used to play out doing acoustic open mic sets at a couple places, but when my songs got more attention than the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Oasis covers, I decided to take a break from open mics and record definitive recordings of what my songs should sound like. I do love performing. If I found the right group members I'd be all for gigging. All the favorite times were when the waitresses and all even stopped serving to hear my songs and then would go back to working when the other groups would go on stage.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes the access to songs easier and makes it easier a bit for new artists to get stuff heard. It'd be better if more people out there would be looking for new artists. I don't think it's as much of a treat to the music industry as much as paranoid record labels think.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If I had some sort of control over my material and the pay is good, of course.
