Why this name?
syx synce came a while back cuz id always hear people tell me.."you be on some otha shit"..so it just kinda came to me like sixth sense..abilities that the normal person doesnt have. Most importantly, ive been sick since God knows how long...hahaha
Do you play live?
ya already know...theres no betta place than the stage....any stage....it dont matter if its 10 or 1000 people watchin me perform cuz all you gotta do is get to one...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its a very effective marketing tool..it allows you to display your music all over without sending cds everywhere
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
it depends really....im not an industry slave nor will I ever be....I do music cuz its whats in my heart...If a major label lets me make the music I feel then we can talk business...
Your influences?
Jay-z, Portishead, Hector Lavoe...basically, anybody thats not afraid to take risks and be different...
Favorite spot?
Hawaii's nice but I gotta stay true to V...I rep Virginia all day baby...Im currently in Korea so my plan is to expand American Hip Hop in this country
