Why this name?
There was an old expression called "throw down the glove" meaning to duel or fight. We simply got rid of the glove part and replaced it with a rose. The rose represents a love between two people. So the name "Throw Down the Rose" simply means a battle between two people for love and all the stress and pain love can bring.
Do you play live?
yeah, we play live. Anywhere we get the chance to. We love playing shows, that's what it's all about. Going out there and rocking like a hurricane and breaking sh*** and having a blast. We've had way too many special moments to name here.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it helps a lot. A lot more people get exposed to your music. Soundclick, myspace, purevolume, all those places are looked at by thousands of people and you get exposed easily. When it comes to downloading mp3's, go for it, we make the music for you anyways guys...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
oh hell yeah!
