"Barber Q" aka "The Shuno Kid" was raised in Statesville, a small town in North Carolina, Where people know him as Marcques Tatum. A barber as his trade he recieved the name Barber Q from barber Ques (Ques being short for Marcques). He recieved Shuno from the words (you know) which he frequently uses in his lyrics with a southern twist. He is currently getting the south crunk with his lyrics and the way he keeps it real to the streets. Not to mention being a sex symbol to all the young ladies.

He has been blazin the local scene for years perfecting his craft and learning the music industry. In the process he has recieved much recognition on his musical style. Currently he is bringing it raw for the underground club scene with his dirty south anthem " Hot Right Now" produced by Will Kimbrough. He also has three Hott singles "Pimp Tha Same", "Hush Little Buddy a.k.a Hater" and "Twirk It" all produced by Will Kimbrough an up and coming super producer. He is ready to hit the radio waves making people bounce and shake it till they break it.

Although Barber Q has performed across the east coast from New York to Washington, DC on down to the Carolinas his music is ready to take him all over the world. With his dreams of taking his label NC $tunna Entertainment in which he is CEO and President along with The $tunna Family, Barber Q is trying to put North Carolina back in the music industry for good.
