ONCE WE WERE KINGS a progressive rock group from St. Petersburg, Florida. The band was formed in 2001, by singer/songwriter/guitarist Bryce Hinckley, Nick Hinckley an untamed funky and powerful bassists, and percussionist Carises Horn of a native Indian descent, a multi-percussive drummer. ONCE WE WERE KINGS have been together for over three years and, they have entertained many different audiences with their unique musical styles and textures. They have a noticeable following in the Tampa Bay Area.
The imaginative and poetic lyrics to the driving bass lines, incorporated with a solid pulsating momentums, moving, uncanny, & soul stirring sounds that captures the ears of many. Once We Were Kings are a must hear that people should expect to see much more of.

Band History:
They are currently performing at the Café Adagio, a hot spot in downtown St. Petersburg, and can also be heard at Ringside Café, Mastry’s, The Palm and The Tavern at Bayboro (located on the University of South Florida campus). To gain broader recognition, O.W.W.K. regularly performs free concerts in the park with other bands and musicians throughout the area.
