David Farquharson (Dj Day Day) is a producer and Dj from Scotland (UK). He has been producing music for 10+ years and dj'ing for over 5. Why this name?
I felt keeping my own name added a certain uniqueness to a faceless market.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Massively. Its a shame that at a younger age I didn't have this at my fingertips.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I think anyone who says no is trying to gain unfair credibility. Being paid for doing what you love is a bonus but would also allow me to expand my studio and produce more technically advanced work.

Your influences?
I grew up in the Balaeric era when the trance explosion took over most of the world and this particular genre captured me straight away with artists such as 3 drives (on a vinyl), Energy 52, Armin Van Buuren & Tiesto.
My music now is more similar to artists such as David West, Orkidea, Above & Beyond.

Favorite spot?
The Night Residence club in SL (RIP) was where my heart lay. It's where I was introduced to the world of online dj'ing and houses some of the best clubbers in the world.
Equipment used:
FL Studio 8, Reason 4, various VST/VSTi's, Korg M1, Roland-Juno 60 & some basic hardware.
