We're Metalmare, a death melodic metal band from Mexico City, we have a great sound, with fast and energetic riffs, fast drumming, technical bass lines, cool grunts and some clean melodic voice
Why this name?
It came out when Emilio and Körber were thinking some stupid things.....
Do you play live?
yeah, not so frequently but we do, sometimes at Circo Volador and stuff...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
its a better way to know lots of underground bands across the world and because of this a great way to distribute your music
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeah i guess so
Band History:
The band started when Körber, Emilio and Julio joined to play some rock/metal stuff. Time after, Jorge entered the band and then Julio left, so we had to search for another guitar player, so Sebastian entered. At this time we were 2 guitars, bass and drums, but we needed a singer, so Angela entered in february 2005 and our line-up was complete. After this, our style was completely Death melodic metal, with some progressive and black parts.
Your influences?
We´re greatly influenced by bands such as Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy, Quo Vadis, Stormlord, Symphony X, Angra, Behemoth, Iced Earth, etc.
Favorite spot?
we dont really have a favorite spot.....
