The name SEMI was found by accident in 1998, then the (S.E.M;I) was later added by Ian Jay of the single man electro act "BETA" (http://betamusic.net) - Then the lauch of releases became a full blown entity...
By main programer/producer M.Orgillon, and the rest as i like to say is history.

S.E.M;I is a live performance band, but by all means would rather stay in the studio recording more tunes to be ahead of the times.

Mp3's change the industry in my opinion for the better, it lets the listener know of FREE sounds to figure if they like it or not.

If the time came to where S.E.M;I had an honest
contract with a "major" label to release a fullength CD and the "deal" was right, i might consider it.

There are too many influences to name, but i can tell you this, lots of people say S.E.M;I sounds like Download at 'some' times, you be the better judge of that =)
