Zen Tea is the name of the band composed of four young individuals. One of them is originated from Zamboanguita, Oriental Negros, the brother's of San jose , Oriental Negros, and the one Dumagueteneo. Our history started in Silliman University which the four of us studied on the said university. We're almost 2 years and counting being a band.
Why this name?
KARMIC SCENERY > ZATOICHI > KARMIZA > KLAS KARD > "ZEN TEA"... that's the history of our bandname. We choose this name because some of our songs is talking about life, peace, and harmony. that's the meaning of Zen tea...
Do you play live?
Yes. We're mostly playing in some part of Oriental Negros when there's an invitation. We really like to play because it's our way to express our own feelings. Well every gig gives us special moment thats for sure.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well so far it will depends from the person's overview. some wants to download music through internet well some prefers to buy cd's for their own pleasure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
with a Big YES!!!

We're all schoolmates we just started with the idea to play in the University Acquintance Party by then we never stop playing until now.
