Why this name?
The name was chosen for two reasons.
1) The label that we rep at the moment is Explicit Records. That's the label originated by yours trully, 20/30. It was just commonsense to match the name with the Label.
2) The initials of the group name (E.C.) is also the initials of the hood that we're from (East Cleveland).

Do you play live?
Yes, we play live from time to time. We mainly play at Peabody's nightclub. We have opened up for Paul Wall, Bizzy Bone, and Tony Yayo. We also were chosen this past year to perform at the Cleveland Music Fest. These shows are cool for the moment, but our main objective is to put Cleveland and E.C. on the map. By the way, our next show is on November 27th at Peabodys Nightclub. After that, we open up for D-Block at Kaos Nightclub on December 3rd.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it makes it easier for underground artist to get their music heard all over the world. As for big artists, I think the internet hurts their pockets sometimes due to downloads but in the long run it really helps them because it helps increase their fan base.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would, but only if the deal is right. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to act like we're the Jordan led Bulls of rap, but we are intelligent individuals. We're a team of entrepreneurs. Bottom line, I refuse to sign my life away. Always read every bit of any documentation before putting your John Hancock down because people are always trying to insert loopholes to legally screw you over.
