My Philosphy on the Creation of Music:
To listen and enjoy music and it's limitless possibilities is one of the greatest gifts of life. To be able to control the airwaves around you to make them mold to your will is a direct gift and humble talent from God!

-Scot Ross- (composer) First Launch

To all those who listen to my music with as much enthusiasm as I write it, Let the imagination run free!
Why this name?
First Launch came from a song that I did about the Apollo 11 space mission to the moon. I have always been enamoured by space and it's pure endlessness and possibilities. I am awaiting space travel to become an everyday reality and I'm waiting for my first launch.
Do you play live?
I play living and breathing in my small recording studio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes, it gives the unknown artist an outlet to others that might enjoy their music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No probably not...I'm not cut out for that kind of life.
Band History:
I started at the age of 8 playing Cello and most of the other string instrument family. I involved myself with music theory and trying out all kinds of instruments. I tried a Casio cz-1 and loved it. I was a synth man from there on until I started my career and family. I didn't touch a keyboard for 10 years until last year and had to play catch up with technology. The learning curve was huge but the desire and ear had not faded. Now this is my quest hope all who listens enjoys.
