President A.C., born and raise in East Memphis and South Memphis. The street life gave him vivid experiences which inspired him to venture into a career in rap and basketball, football, baseball, and even bowling in High School. "The majority of coming up [I tried] a lotta different things like hustling and a lotta other things that come your way. But rapping and basketball was my talent." Bone Thugs, Allstar, Cash Money Millionaires (The old ones such as Big Tymers and The Hot Boyz), Plies, T.I., Kia Shine, Nelly, Mista Ian, Yo Gotti, and etc..., all of whom he list as influences. He soon found himself ranked among the city’s top underground rappers. "Right now I have a hit single out with Mac E (SIGN UNDER 8BALL & MJG Music) & Yung Flow (SIGN TO SOSO DEF) called 'Yea Yea (remix)' and plenty more songs but Im just releasing them on different websites, ah yea "MYSPACE.COM/PRESIDENTAC""

President A.C. made his first appearance as a member of the short-lived group Young Comin`, featuring another young talent named PC (out of Chi-Town). In 2003, they dropped their underground debut, "In Jail." Now A.C. drops his debut solo project, "Got Votes?."
Why this name?
I sometimes go by A-Hay, I got that from out of my real name. I just shortin it, but President A.C., I did that new name because that like sayin' U got it lock, U on fire, U tha best, and etc....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea, fo sho, I would like to get wit "TVT Records, Universal Records, Chopper City Records, and whoever."
