Ebb & Flow is Steve Boler, a DJ/vocalist who is now producing his own songs.
Why this name?
I chose Ebb & Flow because I love the ocean.
Do you play live?
I havent played live lately, but will be soon with my other electronic band Sonic Alliance.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it allows people to be more impulsive, rather than having to drive all the way to the record store. If mp3s float around for free, it still promotes the band who can then reap the benefits when they play live.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Your influences?
Kraftwerk, Cybotron, Simon & Garfunkle.
Favorite spot?
Las Vegas
Equipment used:
I used to use analog synths exclusively for years, my favorite was the Juno 106. But lately I decided to move into the future and now I am using soft synths almost exclusively. I use my Emax II for gigs. I use Cakewalk Home Studio for sequencing.
Anything else...?
There is an MP3 album available in my store which includes some tracks not on this page.
