About the song
During my devotions/meditations I read the story of the crucifixation of Jesus Christ. I was struck with the fact that the people knew that Jesus Christ was the king but they did not perceive that he is the King of King. I was struck by the fact that they placed the wrong crown on his head. Jesus is deserving of the Crown of Glory, Honor and Praise. I'm determined to CROWN HIM DAILY THROUGH THE LIVE I LIVE.
Lyrics
LEAD: For leaving your heavenly home, coming to earth to die on Calvary.
CHORUS; I crown you with my praise
Lead: They put a crown of thorns on your head. A purple robe on your back. Called you the King of Jews.
Chorus: I crown you with my praise.
Lead. For the 39 stripes on your body that guarantees my healing and deliverance.
Chorus: I crown you with my praise.
Lead: Buried you carried my sin and shame away. Stole the victory from the grave.
Chorus: I crown you with my praise.
Lead. I crown you Lord of Lord, King of Kings, master of the universe. My everything.
horus: Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, I crown you with my praise.
Lead: I crown you Lord of Lord, King of Kings, master of the universe. You'r my everything.
Chorus: Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, I crown you with my praise.
Lead; risen, you returned to heaven to prepare a place for me. You sent the comforter to stay with me.
Chorus: Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, I crown you with my praise.
Lead: I crown you, oh; I crown you with my praise.
