I used to DJ and my DJ name was flex. That name is as common as mike. So I rotated the "l" 90 degrees and got F-ex. I did't like the look so I got creative. EHPHEX stands out.

I make beats in my studio, But I used to play drums and DJ years ago. I stil conider myself a percussionist.

The internet is a gift and a curse. For the independent underground artist (such as myself) it is great to have an opportunity to promote and sell my music to a greater audiance. On the other hand record label are hurting from illegal downloads, but not as much as they claim, its still a billion dollar business.

1992 was the year Ehphex the Dj was born. For several years he mixed, and scratched the wax, Until he got his first keyboard. The beats commenced, and Ehphex the hip hop producer was born. In 1997 He upgraded some of his production tools and constructed "The Ehphex Files" (a full length compilation album) in 2000. Fast foward to the present... Ehphex is still at it with better tools and hotter tracks. Stay tuned for alot of up and comming project.

I just set up this soundclick page, with the hopes to get my career moving in the right direction. You see I am a Hip Hop and R&B producer, And I go by the name of "EHPHEX" (fX). Basically I make beats... hot tracks...bangin' jointz that will make your head nod and your feet tap, Some of my tracks have made some folk dance, (DR. DRE AIN'T GOT NOTHIN ON ME...WELL MAYBE 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE, PLATINUM PLAQUES, AND A BIGGER BANK ACCOUNT, BUT THATS ABOUT IT)
My goals are fostered by my lifes dream to make music-making my fulltime job. This means getting my name known, selling some beats, and producing for a few well known or up and coming artist. This is just the start, My website is in development and I plan to launch early next year. Until then I will be postitng some of my tracks here along with updates on how my career is going.
