The sound of Industrial rock.
Imagine Trent Reznor armwrestling James Hetfield, with Rob Zombie as referee.
Why this name?
Years of going by really cheesy names finally gave way to "The Edge of Seven" just popping into my head. A little refinement and "Edges of Seven" is the result.
Do you play live?
We've had some memorable shows over the past 3 years, but the best is yet to come. We're currently planning the CD release party for our debut CD "Born Again Hard".
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Millions more people can hear anything they want with a few clicks of a mouse. It doesn't get easier than that.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the conditions. We'd rather go with a smaller label that'll let us be us, but still give us tour support. If we could negotiate that kind of deal with a major, well then cool!
Band History:
Edges of Seven started as a solo project in March of 2003 by Robert Takacs. Since then, Eo7's online presence has grown to span over 100 countries. In October 2002, assembly of the full band began with the first recruits being synth/sequencer player Corey Hunt, and former Frontline Assembly drummer Jason Hagan. Guitarist Mark S. and bassist Ryan Smith joined during the Summer of 2003.
Sadly, Ryan Smith passed away on August 2nd, 2006 at the age of 28. The new CD is dedicated in loving memory to Ryan.
