I am not a band I am a single artist. I didn't see any options for a single artist so I put it with 'new band'.
Hi, I've been doing music for MANY years and wiil continue to be into it until I lose my mind or my soul. At this point my songs are guitar and voice. The lyrics are a very important part of my songs. I am living in Southern FL and would be open to meeting others to jam with. Maybe for a duet, trio or band.

Why this name?
It's my given name.
Do you play live?
I've played at Borders Books and some outside festivals, but as I have been a teacher up until last June I haven'y been able to check places out. Now I want to do that more.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
More people can be heard without having to be accepted by a record company. This SHOULD give the musician more artistic freedom.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as I can do the type of music that I have always loved, YES. Why not??
Your influences?
I love acoustic and electric music as long as the musical integrity is kept. My influences range from Dylan, Simon and Cohen to Pearl Jam, REM and Green Day. Being that I was raised in Detroit I also love the Motown sound.
Favorite spot?
New York, New Orleans
Equipment used:
I use a guitar, a harmonica, a six string banjo, a twelve string guitar etc.
Anything else...?
I'd like to say that I am flexible to a certain degree in the kind of music I love and the music I perform. I have MANY songs of my own but I also
enjoy doing covers. I'll go from Simon and Garfunkle to Pink Floyd to Leonard Cohen to REM and all over. I'll throw a few of my own in to keep the balance.
