Band History:
I'm a folkie turned country turned Christian songwriter. Grew up in Nashville and knocked around in a group called "Al's Friends" with Wayne Berry and Judy Elliott. Our claim to fame: Turned down a recording offer from RCA's Felton Jarvis (produced Elvis during late 1960's) because we wouldn't do country. Man, we were idealistic back then. Wayne and Judy went on to a contract with Electra and two albums and I went to Viet Nam. My conversion to Christianity caused me to get back into music.
