That's What I Do
Miss Neia uses rap music as a medium to reach people, primarily the youth, with the Gospel and Word of God. Furthermore, she uses rap music as a way of self-expression and to praise God.
Why this name?
Not only is Neia my real name, but it also means "purpose". According to Colossians 1:16, we are made by and for God's purpose. I added the Miss just because I am a lady of God; a lady of God made for HIS purpose.
Do you play live?
Yes, where ever the Spirit guides me. Anywhere from my school, to churches, programs, etc.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Just another way to spread the Gospel and reach young adults with the Truth (being Jesus).
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if they are strictly for enhancing the Kingdom of God!
Band History:
Basically, I've been rapping since I was eleven, however, it was not until I was 19 that I've began to rap solely for Christ and for the enhancement of His kingdom. I'm still growing in Christ, so there's more to come!
Your influences?
Besides the Holy Spirit, first and foremost... my influences are: FLAME, The Ambassador, and many local artists such as K-Drama...
Favorite spot?
Berlin, Germany; Cincinnati, OH (Westwood!!); and my home church, New Covenant Fellowship.

My music is just a tool. I use rap as a medium to preach the Gospel and to give reverance to God. Take away my music, I'll still live for Christ... so I pray that people look past me, look past the beats, look past the music, and look to and seek GOD! I'm just fulfilling His plans... the words I speak are the words He's birthed within me!
