"Back to the Basics" is a more hardcore style than usual, I think it worked out well.

[Any feedback on my songs would be great, hit me up on the message board and I'll get back to ya. Style suggestions, what ya liked/didnt like in a song. Or even how's the weather (well maybe not)]
I'm a rapper, producer, sometime singer, who goes by the name of Decoy, part of the Double Edge Crew with MC's G-Force, Messin, and Mr Rafi, who produces as well. (www.soundclick.com/mrrafi)
I've seriously gotten into music in the last two years, and while I'm focusing mainly on producing, I have the talent to write decent lyrics, and so I'm giving rapping (and singing) a go.

Why this name?
When choosing a DJ name, when I was DJ'ing UK Garage, I went for something that summed up my mixing. I used to fake a lot of drops, and go back to the first song, hence... Decoy.
Do you play live?
I've DJ'ed some live sets, but haven't got to perform as a rapper yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I can understand how it's bad for the top artists, as they lose out on record sales, but for the up and coming talent, there's nothing better than getting your music heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes
Your influences?
I used to listen to a lot of funk music, and I think that's gotten into my music in a way. There's aspects of UK Garage in there, and a lot of R&B.
