Rosepointe is a fourpeice emo band from Pleasanton California. Rosepointe started in the early years of 2001, we are still in High School, and are looking to get signed. We have completed the Change Of Sides EP which is a 7 song demo.
Why this name?
Three of the members lived in the most awesome neighborhood you can possibly live in, called Rosepointe, then the fourth member came into the band and that has been our name ever since.
Do you play live?
We used to play live alot, just at local venues whenever we are called up and offered a spot in the lineup of local bands, we play with bands like Eleventeen, Bound To Happen, Dreaming Of Eden, Snapshot, The Silent Film Stars...We love playing live, not just showing people music but also spreading the word of the Lord.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is awesome just because of the music on it...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definatley, we are looking to send our new CD into many labels.
Band History:
The band started playing in their early years of high school around the year 2001, just trying to find any where to possibly play, in hope of getting a fun gig. So far, our biggest accomplishments have been headlining for shows, finishing our eight sond CD, and playing with the following bands: Eleventeen, Bound To Happen, Silent Film Stars, Quitter, Soon Forgotten, Snapshot, Citizen's Arrest, Second Shot, Tragody Andy, and hopefully much more to come in the future.
Your influences?
Elliott, Thrice, Hopesfall, Coheed And Cambria, Reggie And The Full Effect and Underoath.
Favorite spot?
Our Garage...so we can chill together, four best friends making music, whats better than that?
Equipment used:
Shure, Marshall, Fender, Yamaha, Washburn, Ludwig
