Wizard Craft is simply the end result of one man's neverending need and desire to create. Create music, art, and whatever else the imagination deems neccessary. That man would be me. My name is Dave and this is my music. I sincerely hope that you enjoy it.
Why this name?
I have an interest in midieval myths and legends etc. Dragons, wizards and the like. I actually came up with the name just now when I saw that the name that I had originally was already in use.
Do you play live?
There is no feeling that compares to that of being onstage and playing live. I don't do it anymore though. It's just me and my little home studio.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Greater accessibility and more choice. Freedom to listen to or create the music that you want instead of just the music that the major labels see fit to publish.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, why not?
Your influences?
Classic rock of the late 60's and 70's was first. Great guitarists from then until now(to many to list). Classical music. As far as individual bands or artists are concerned I would have to say The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, Klaatu, Rush, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Al DiMeola, John Petrucci, Jean Luc Ponty, Jeff Beck, and pretty much anyone who is or was a master of thier instrument whatever that instrument may have been.
Favorite spot?
Colorado
Equipment used:
Primarily I'm a guitarist but I play many instruments. I have way too many guitars. Ibanez, Agile, SX, Yamaha, and Oscar Schmidt are among the brands that I use and I use most of them. I use a Korg AX1500G processor for the guitars. For synths and keys I have a Korg Triton Extreme, a Korg MS2000, and a Yamaha DGX-200. For drums I have an electronic kit by Pacific Digital.
