Welcome to God's Monkey @ Soundclick
God's Monkey are a music collective from Vancouver, BC - their music varies from early 70's electronica instrumentals in the Berlin form to 80's electro-pop and new age. The first CD "Good for All Creatures" featured creative artwork by Heather Cameron and with musical tribute to the Doors via a cover of "Riders on the Storm" and performer Bill Nelson. The new CD "Casino Club" features four original compositions and a selection of classics from Herbie Hancock's "Chameleon" to the latin "Moliendo Cafe.
The new CD "Casino Club" is a dedication to the Wigan Casino, which ran from 1973 to 1981 as the source of Northern Soul in the UK.

God's Monkey's primary influences are from Tangerine Dream, Bill Nelson, David Sylvian, King Crimson, Steve Tibbets, Steve Hillage. However, musical influences arrive from prog rock and jazz.
