i just finished my second cd
[every perfect day]
as a challenge i made the entire album without using a single guitar on it. since the guitar has been my primary instrument for so many years, this turned out to be somewhat difficult. i did learn a hell of a lot though.

Band History:
One day when I was seven I was hanging out with my older cousins trying to be cool. One of them suggested that we ought to learn how to play the guitar because chicks dig that. Then they pointed out that my father knew how to play and we could get him to teach us. I'd practice day and night for years. I'd learned how to play a few easy chords and I'd try to play along when my dad had his friends over jamming out to some old classic rock tunes I'd never heard of. But don't think for a minute that i was some type of child prodigy, cause I wasn't. I spent many years sucking and I eventually quit playing.
By the time I was in middle school I'd decided to start playing guitar again (after a three year break). This time trying to learn nirvana songs and smashing pumpkin songs. Time passed and I gradually started to get better. Over the years that passed I'd take lessons here or there from some very amazing musicians that were friends of my fathers. In high school I was back listening to a lot of classic rock and I became a very big pink floyd fan, and eventually even bigger fans of beck and radiohead. By college I was spending my time trying to learn as many different instruments as I can (kind of like cross training). I became a blues musician and never looked back.
Now I'm 23 and I've been playing guitar for almost 17 years. My talent is not natural talent... its time served. I'm currently consumed with songwriting and learning how to use my recording studio.

Local people and music from the past.

MicroKorg synth, reissued 67' Fender Stratocaster, BR1600 digital recorder.
Anything else...?
i started playing guitar at an extremely young age and as the years passed i got better. i started to learn other instruments and a day came when i no longer considered myself a guitarist... but rather, a musician. i continued to play and experiment with music until yet another day came when i was brought to the realization that i was no longer a musician, but instead, was someone who spent their time concerned with the creation of what has yet to be... an artist, an inventor, a creator.
