“I’m gonna make you feel,” the Kansas City musician Kredulous explains in response to inquiries about the passion in his music. Undeniably, his songs contain some of the most compellingly magnetic messages that draw the listener in with their authenticity. “I want my words to reach not only people who listen to hip-hop, but those who listen to music.”
Kredulous was born and raised in Independence, MO. He began writing rhymes at a very early age and since has recorded three studio albums. He has been influenced by a variety of artists such as Ben E. King, Smokey Robinson, Tupac, and John Mayer, but the most important influences are his personal experiences in life. In three years, he has recorded over 200 songs and has worked with several other musicians nationwide. “I take great pride in the fact that I have earned the respect of other talented artists.”
In 2003, Kredulous recorded his first two albums “Living with Scars” and “Baptized by Fire.” Both reflect raw, personal emotions which serve as an introduction into the realm of professional music. His newest project, “Kredentials,” was released December 13, 2005. He is featured on the popular underground music website soundclick.com, where his works have reached number one in the site’s rap charts. Recently Kredulous recorded an advertisement for the Chop Shop, a graphic design and detailing store, where his clothing line is promoted. His music can also be heard on his website Kredulous.com, where it is possible contact him, view his music videos, as well as purchase c.d.’s.
Kredulous’ new album’s “Kredentials” is meant to inspire, touch, and entertain people from all walks of life. It is destined to be an explosively poetic, lyrical masterpiece.
