This is Acid Boyz, a group of 2 rappers but a cliq of many more. J-Scrub is the CLEAR front man as his lyrics are superior to that of the feeble Lacore. Every song is a mix of Horrorcore, Hip Hop and Gangsta rap in some way. J-Scrub is a strong lyricists as well as music producer, While Lacore steals his "Home-made" beats from producers such as VTZ and Shadowville. While working in the music industry for many years, 2006 will mark the end of a 6 month era of one man carrying a lowly Aaron Carter wannabe.

"Acid Boyz - Long Time Coming" - Release date TBA
Why this name?
When asked how the name came about, Years of drinking and weed smoking left them with no answers.
Do you play live?
"We played a couple shows but then I realized I was the only one with talent and Lacore couldnt even remember his own lyrics so I had to do his verses for him. I have played many different shows with many different people. My first paying gig was at Peabody's in Cleveland, I got $20. But $20 has never meant so much. I'll never forget opening up for Twiztid and Colton Grundy at Webster's in Connecticut, There was about 2000 people there and everyone of them was feeling it. Felt great." - J-Scrub

"I've never performed like a concert because when J-Scrub and I stepped on stage, I trembled in fear that all the black people would hate me so J-Scrub pretty much made everything better. He's my rock. But I lied and tried to say I did a few battles in a couple clubs here and there. Like Atlanta, Columbus, Norfolk. But the fact is I just steal lyrics from Eminem and cannot freestyle. Im also a closet fag." - Lacore
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"The music industry doesn't care about my kind of music. So I see the internet as a way to spread my word and my work to the masses. Anyone with an open mind or an open ear thats willing to listen to the truth." - J-Scrub

"...Still a closet fag." - Lacore
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
"That all depends man. Kottonmouth (kings) signed to Capitol and Capitol let them do their thing. so it depends. I ain't changed a d*mn thing and I don't change for anyone." - J-Scrub

"I on the other hand WILL smoke cock for an indy label if they take interest in me. Today Im rapping, tomorrow I could be singing... Who knows, maybe I'll just give up all together." - Lacore
Band History:
"The history is irrelevant, The future is what matters..." - J-Scrub
Your influences?
"I draw inspiration from everywhere and anything." - J-Scrub

"I steal from my inspirations." - Lacore
Favorite spot?
"C-Town man, C-Bus is where its at. West Side til we die, Where Lacore sucked a cop off to get out of a ticket. Don't bother slangin' your bullsh*t demo on my block because you gets no love, know what I'm sayin'?" - J-Scrub

"Fa Real. Roll on 'fore I stick a potato in my mouth and let you go to work on my tender colon..." - Lacore
Anything else...?
" The bottom line is this, When you know you can do something by yourself, do it by yourself. All anyone else is gonna do is ride your coat tails and make you look bad." - J-Scrub

"No doubt." - Lacore
