Panday started rapping 20 years (!) ago, when he was 10 yrs old (remember MC Miker G & DJ Sven and New Edition's rap in the song "Cool It Now"?) way back in '85. During high school he bacame a mobile dj and met Laggim (a former hip hop dancer). They hooked up and formed a duo called "BlackSoul" in '95. They composed several songs, one of them was "Mahirap Maging Mahirap" which was included in the compilation album "KALahi" (Kayumanggi Ang Lahi) produced by IPK-Oblaxz Music. Laggim met Sindak, who was also Kilabot's friend.. and the rest was history...
