Do you play live?
I'm a regular at the Matrix Coffeehouse in Chehalis. Their open mic nights are great; good people, good food, nice sound, and twenty minute sets. A lot of great performers show up regularly.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Venues like Soundclick have the great potential to put the creative process back where it belongs, with the artists. I think the technology is transforming the industry in a positive way.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
At this point in my life... unlikely.
Band History:
I've been a musician for most of my life. I played drums for a host of different bands for twenty-some years. Now I would like to do some of my songs and just sing and maybe play some guitar and harmonica.
Your influences?
My roots are in the blues. But I love artists like Bob Dylan and Neil Young. I'm more interested in lyrics and melody these days than loud and rocking.
