Slaughter Shack was formed in 1986 by a few art school/Punk rock dorks that loved Black Flag and Metallica equally. As the band evolved from worthless string plunkers and a suit-case beating drummer to sloppy string chunkers, "The Shack" naturally became METAL, or at least the step-child rendition of one.
Why this name?
