Why this name?
The name P1ug originated from computers. I started using a computer at the age of 12. I learned a lot of things about technology, computers, etc.I learned everything I could about the Windows & Linux Operating Systems. Along the way I gained knowledge about recording music.My Original nick name was Unplugged, but my friends thought the name was to long.So they started calling me Plug. The name sort of stuck with me so I just started using it for my online handle everywhere.
Do you play live?
I will never have but can, I would like it and love to remember a special moment rapping. I rap in front of crowds but not often only at like parties etc...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yea definitely it lets everyone have their own voice. I appreciate the WWW plus everything it has to offer.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea if it was the right one....
Band History:
I have always been a big fan of Hip Hop. I grew up listening to it while skateboarding everyday when I was younger. Hip Hop always had a big affect on me.So I started writing & learning ways I could use the computer to record my music.The more I messed around with different recording programs the more I learned.I did not think much of it, but the older you get the more serious things become. Now I write,record, & create songs + videos in my free time.
