2 Hours of Bliss was formed out of Flagstaff, AZ on July 29, 2004; under a blue moon. for the first 2 weeks, double rainbows could be seen over our rehearsal space almost daily. our line up at that time (and for the recordings featured here) was:
Tatiana VanCamp - violin, viola & vocals; Michael Pettit - bass & vocals; Michael Ingiosi - guitars & vocals; Laurel Cutland - keys; Kelvin Mockingbird - flutes, shaker & vocals; and Ezra Ravencroft - electronic drums & percussion, samples & synth.

Why this name?
before Blame Jesus, there was 2 Hours of Bliss... but with the addition of several multi-fx units and the departure of our flute player, we decided to change it back. 2 Hours of Bliss referred to the idea of enlightenment vs. entertainment; as in the approximate running time of a feature length film. also, we generally played 2 hour shows.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
you get to hear us now, that's pretty cool. you are listening, aren't you?
Your influences?
we have been compared to Portishead, Enigma & Rasputina and been called faerie music by small children. we'll stick with being called faerie music...
