When I was 14-15, I got really into Eminem, along with the older crowd I chilled with. Started partyin, drinkin, blazin... you know, gettin messed up and enjoyin every moment of it. We started freestylin in my boys' cars while we were puffin Dutches. Right after I got outta school I got a job as a line cook at a local resturaunt. The dude who trained would bring in CD's from time to time, so I'd freestyle "to myself" within his earshot. When he heard me, he invited me over and Joey Dimes was born. Recently though, I've been tryin to bring my A game and reinvent my style and flo. That's what Deuce Lee is. It's Joey Dimes reincarnate, or more accurately, the motivation Dimes been lookin for the hole time. The fire I spit now is like CRACK, kids get addicted. The rest is history in the making.
