Comptons Street representatives "The Democrats" are looking to bring a new buzz to the music world. Currently unsigned, the 6 man crew consisting of "Praphet(Head), Slic(2nd incharge), Black Box, Christyle, Murder Mar, and Harlem(Newest Requit), will be a complete recking force of Lyrical Emcees to deal with.
Why this name?
We feel that we have a type of respect from our family members, and friends, which gives us a sence of authority. The name "Democrats" actually was made by us in our church group(in compton)
Do you play live?
Not yet. We are putting out Demos till the time is right.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We believe it changes the music industry alot because it gives a form of help to emcees that are not intune with the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. Of course
Your influences?
We are actually a diverse group of emcees. In "The Democrats" people will find that we have a very talented roster. Our influences are emcees who freestyle battle.
