ZinForge just kind of came about as a joke name from AcidicA (www.mp3.com/AcidicA)... it was soon adopted after the initial joke was made.

In mid-2000, Brian.Forge created a project called Drelub. It was very raw and just a hobby untill he noticed he held a certain talent for writing electronic music. Soon, the style changed to fit Brian's personal taste and with that the name changed to ZinForge and began producing Harsh EBM and Powernoise tracks. In early 2001 Brian decided to eliminate the EBM from ZinForge's arsenal and began to dedicate his efforts toward just producing power noise.

Musical influences range from the old school industrial acts such as Zoviet France, Throbbing Gristle, SPK, and flow to the newer noise acts such as Mono no Aware, Noisex, Converter, MS Gentur, Aural Blasphemy, 5f_55, etc.
