I guess most of you think I walked away from this music thing for a long time. I apologize to all my fans and to myself for keeping myself locked away from not only expressing my emotions; but, also from shutting out my fans to what my new material holds and to what I've been doing. Regardless, I appreciate all the support from fans, friends, and family. You are the drive that pushes me forward to make music. I am very willing to work with emcees and producers, alike. Please contact me if you are interested.
I grew up in a small town and discovered my love of writing at a young age. It progressed and transcended into music and here I am today. I don't know if I want to pursue this to anymore than what it already is. I'm happy with what I'm doing in life and what music has done for me. I've gotten more out of it than any other thing could possibly teach or show me. I won't take that in vain and try to be ignorant and use it for my own wants or needs. However, I do feel like I owe it to all of you who have followed me for all these years to keep showing you more. So, we'll see what happens.
You have my word I will post more and more often from here on out.
THANKS!

Why this name?
I used to be a battle emcee. The moniker was given to me due to the fact I would demolish all of these emcees who thought they were incredible. However, they were merely the type who spoke of the things that hip hop isn't. Salvation was born shortly thereafter. Mr K Dot Sparks is self explanatory due to my name.
Do you play live?
I used to quite a bit. Buggin Malone is trying to get me to do it again. It's looking as I'm going to start doing it again. If you have venues or bars that would like to contact me about doing a stand at their place, just email me and I'll get back to you immediately. Best time I ever performed would have to be down in Appleton at Brooklyn's. It was great because DJ Lightning threw a CD and went to play my new single when I realized he put the wrong track on and it was just the instrumental and I didn't realize it until 20 seconds into the song so I had to rush to grab the mic and finish the song. Everyone went nuts. Another highlight was performing live in front of about 5,000 in McHenry County years ago.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Let's us unsigned artists create a movement and keep in constant contact with our fanbases. Alot of people knock on being an 'internet emcee' and that the people who listen to it on the internet don't have any knowledge of hip hop. I merely reply, "The people on the internet are the same ones who buy cd's, vinyl, go to clubs, and listen to the radio in their car." A fan is a fan, end of discussion.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It's not one of my dreams, but it's incredibly hard to say I wouldn't. Honestly, I wouldn't know unless it was actually laying in front of me.
Band History:
I've been writing for over ten years and recording music since I was seventeen. I briefly dabbled on the producing side of hip hop, but quickly retreated back to strictly emceeing shortly thereafter. I've tried convincing myself I have better things to do with my time, but I can't get away from Hip Hop nor say that I want to walk away from it.
Your influences?
Louis Logic is by far the most impressive force behind a microphone I've ever heard. Dr. Dre, early Eminem, The Game, T.I., Army Of The Pharoahs, Reef The Lost Cauze, Last Emporer, The Beatles, Smile Empty Soul. Honestly, there are way too many to list. All music keeps my ears thoroughly enjoyed.
Favorite spot?
Aslong as I'm with my nieces, I could care less where it is. But, if I had to choose one place it would be Chicago. There's no other place like it in the world. I can't wait to move back.
Equipment used:
A notepad, a pen, and an imagination vivid enough to make acid trips look like black and white photos.
Anything else...?
Thanks again to anyone and everyone who's listened to my music.
