I am a published poet just trying to share the wealth of my words. Anything you may think, I probably already wrote something on it.
Why this name?
MindSpeaka comes from me being someone who speaks her mind ... I do not hold back when it comes to the pen.
Do you play live?
I currently do this open mic here in Florida titled Nokturnal Escape. A lot of spoken word artist are showcased during this event. I love doing it, and the energy you receive from the crowd and fellow poets make you wanna get up and start pounding that dirt to get yourself out there.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet makes a lot of artist that most would not know about more accesible, globaly.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would, as long as I kept all rights to my work and could go whichever way I wanted to with my work. I don't want to loose the soul of my work for a quick dollar, ya know? Oh, and they MUST BE LEGIT.
