Formed in March 2004 under the name Probable Cause, Rich, Nev and Stu came together under the visions of the musical gods, with the message to go forth and unleash musical enlightenment to all the starved and needy music fans.

Never one to follow orders from anyone, they soon wrote a whole batch of original sounding tunes, creating amazement and awe to all that follow them.

Adopting the genre 'Groove-Orientated Rock' from bassist Nev, Probable Cause took influences from bands that the three members listened to, but wouldn't subject themselves to blatend ripping off of other people's material. Instead, they didn't say they were going to sound a certain way... they wrote songs that they want to hear... they wrote songs they hope that like-minded music fans would appreciate... they wrote songs which rock.

With the motto: "We are who we are, that won't ever change", Probable Cause soon started to write more and more, with the lyrics coming from the tag-team of Rich and Nev, the songs ranged the whole musical genre rainbow... from the pop-rock 'Flirting with the Enemy', to the mellow-rock 'Back on You', to the dirty hard-rock 'Conscience Waking', to the metal-esque 'sundowntozero' to the ballad 'Same Old Story', and everything else in between.

The recording of the debut EP started in early June 2005, with the latest mix of the song 'Flirting with the Enemy' available to listen to here, progress is going well... the band are aiming for completion of the EP and gigging for the start of 2006.

In July 2005, after learning of a few more artists with the moniker of Probable Cause, the decision was made for a name change... from that day, Rich, Nev and Stu became 'sundowntozero' - and a new light beckons...
