Why this name?
I've been interested in serpent mythology from around the world for some time now, examples bing the Rainbow Serpent of Hopi and Australian Aboriginal legend or the winged serpent Quetzacoatl from South America.

Seshanaga is the Hindu 'King of the Serpents' He is a very old deity, predating the ancient texts of the Vedas and 'naga' meaning serpent is one of the oldest words in existence. Seshanaga is a thousand headed snake that sings the planets into creation. To me it expresses the life force that makes incarnation possible.
Do you play live?
I currently play live acoustic shows, but I am building up to shows with a full band, starting with my CD release party mid-November in Halifax, Canada.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet makes music more accessible to people. It also makes geographically distant collaboration more possible - for example the producer on my debut CD was Mitch Girio who lives in Toronto and we worked on the production together even though we were 1500 km away from each other!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
I've played music for ages - but started more seriously in the summer of 2005 with the release of my debut CD "Heaven's Gate"
Your influences?
Massive Attack, Zion Train, Prodigy, Orbital, Billy Bragg, System of a Down, Johnny L, Dillinja, Wyclef Jean, Arlo Guthrie. There, now you don't know what to expect :-)
