We are a up-comming group out of Jacksonville, Florida. The group consist of 4 members, but only 3 of us is on our hit single " Princess Cut". Were mainly on da grind so there will be more somgs to come!!!!!

Why this name?
We made our first song November 2004. That was the first time we put any of our songs into play. We had to think of a name quick to put that single out....so we put our favorite numbers together. And there it was. 279!. By the time we were ready to change it we were known all around town, so were decided to keep it.
Do you play live?
We played live a few times, but the times we did we sold out the place. What can I say??? They love us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It wouldn't change to much but it would make it better. It would let people know how people in J-ville do it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends on what time and place we are in.
