Electronica for those who don't know they like Electronica!

I do a majority of my stuff solo, and try to keep the electronica simple, yet interesting and moving. I incorporate my guitar, mandolin, and other natural things to help give an organic feel, but it's a pretty simple affair.
Why this name?
It's inspired by a character from a book (i just stuck "usic" on the end) that I identify with.
Do you play live?
All of my music can be played "unplugged", or as-is live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes the industry because you don't have to rely on record companies, etc., to control the music you hear. You can hear anyone, good or bad, by doing a simple search, and on sites like this. It's a good thing!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hmmm. I'm inclined to say no. I try to put soul in my music. I wouldn't want that to be stripped away.
Band History:
Not much of a history, I've been doing music since around 2002, playing the guitar since '99. That's about it. I have been featured in the music mag "Future Music", so check it out on my website if you like, www.quickbeamusic.com
Your influences?
Moby is a huge influence. Recently it's been Røyksopp and Múm. Many other electronic and independent artists have influenced me but it would be impossible to name all of them. Also, early blues, and folk have large influences over my music.
Favorite spot?
In my studio producing music, of course.
Equipment used:
Shh. It's a secret.
Anything else...?
My single hope is you enjoy the music. Genres don't really matter; if it speaks to you, or you just bob your head a little, I've done my job.
