I don't usually play live since I hardly ever get things right on one try.

I think it's great that people can now listen to all different types of music without leaving their home (although it is a bit lazy)

I'd have to think very carefully, but if EMI offered £80m to me, I'd hardly say no.

I began playing musical instruments when I got involved with a part-time music school that my mum ran quite a few years ago. Over this time, I have played the cello, piano and guitar, which is currently my primary instrument, although I'm interested in many different types of instrument, including the bass, drums, piano and strings (cello, violin) since these feature mainly in the music I listen to.

I enjoy a wide range of bands/artists, with genres ranging from acoustic based Jack Johnson to electro-rock band Electronic, and as far back as The Beatles in 1960s to The Red Hot Chili Peppers today. Other artists who have inspired my musical tastes and who had inspired me to write are Pink Floyd, The Pet Shop Boys, Green Day, The Shadows and Cat Stevens (but I'm not suggesting my music is in any way as good as theirs!)

As always, Cambridge has been where I've grown up in, so it is my favourite city, despite the rain. I also enjoyed Berlin when I went there a couple of years ago.

Mainly my guitar and keyboard, which can double up as any other instrument I need, including a drum machine.
