Combining influences ranging from STP, Fuel, and Hum to Tool, Staind, and Sevendust, DOWNSIDE UP brings hard rock with vocal melodies soaring over massive guitar riffs and a tight and explosive rhythm section. In the end, though, it all comes down to great songwriting for these guys. Each song stands alone taking the listener on a ride through musical passion and human emotion. Each band member has his own different musical influences and the band isn't afraid to tap into all of them; meaning you won't be thinking you heard the same song twice at a DOWNSIDE UP show. It has to do with how we all look at life. There's good and there's bad. Either way, you have to deal with it somehow.
