This project is a culmination of influences from a lifetime of music, from rhythm noise to full-on psytrance and of course industrial, EBM, TBM, and electro. It's a dark playground of ideas and noise.
Why this name?
Originally a reference to the usually invisible existence of a negatively signed yet zero value hidden inside a computer program. I believe it means much more than that now.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Killed it, revolutionized it, revitalized it. Things cannot be the same ever again, and I'm glad for it, as an artist, and someone who loves music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Possible but unlikely.

Negutyv Xeiro is a solo project by XEi that was started in 2004 and is currently located in Chicago.
Your influences?
Jeehun Hwang (Mechwarrior 2 soundtrack), Jean Micheal Jarre's album Oxygene, anything by Bill Leeb (such as Front Line Assembly, Noise Unit), Andy LaPlegua (such as Combichrist, Panzer AG), Gravity Kills, Hocico, Infected Mushroom, and many other artists, always electronic, often aggressive.
