I have been making music most of my life. Started singing as a choirboy, studied classical guitar and managed to get started on a conservatoire but dropped out. I felt something was missing from my life and wanted to find it.
It is my conviction that I did find nothing short of the Centre of the universe, the ultimate Cause and Reason why everything exists, the One I believe every one is missing, unless they are born again. I think there is a void deep down inside each one of us which, if it is not filled with an eternal love and awareness of a personal God which reaches beyond our humanity, transience and failings, causes us never to be at peace, never to 'find home' but instead causing us always to wander. I believe that only God Himself is a good enough reason to live, that only knowing that you have peace and a right relationship with Him brings you to a place of peace with yourself, others and our existence. He is our true home and true destiny.
It may seem easier to block out this gnawing feeling inside by having 'lots of noise' as a result of the way you live your life and don't bother about your 'existing' but you will forever be seeking for something that lasts and puts you at rest. To put it in some famous words, 'I can't get no, satisfaction and I try and I try and I try' till I die, till I die, till I die.....
I found Jesus, the Saviour of the world, He was a carpenter from Galilee in Israel who consistently claimed to be God, was killed as a result. He did things no one ever did and spoke words in a manner no one ever did. He did happen to keep his word (which no one believed) and did rise from the dead on Sunday morning after being buried for 3 days thus proving to be God the Son indeed.
The historical fact of Jesus' resurrection has never been disproved and I believe everyone who set out to do so will come around to accept this historical fact. That is unless they violate their intellectual integrity by rejecting the eye witness accounts of simple ordinary people who willingly choose death in order just to be faithful to the things they heard and saw at first hand experience and became convinced of.
It does not make sense to me to disbelieve historical eye witness accounts of people who say it all happening before their eyes and believe yet another theory that claims to prove that Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead, based on the latest evidence.
Because Jesus loves us so perfectly and that includes you and me, He was willing to die for us and break the deadlock of our human condition, forever being yoked to producing our own destruction (my way of saying the wages of sin is death).
As a result of accepting that information and acting upon as instructed in the bible I now have Jesus, His life, His righeousness.
Believe me, before I was a christian I looked down on them, ridiculed them and despised them and would choke on the thought of becoming one. And now I am a christan, I have peace, life, security and smile about it. I have come around thinking that living life without a personal bond with God does not make any sense because He exists, He made everything and enables me to live the life that he made me for. He is good and wants me to taste of His goodness. That is a change I don't claim the credit for, that is His work, not mine. I felt I was missing something but did not think that what I was looking for was Someone I used to despise but have become to love and adore and worship as My Lord and My Saviour.
As a part of that new life I find worshiping, honouring and praising the Name of Jesus an excellent, wholly appropriate and good activity in which I do love to take an active part and that brings us to AllDevotion.

Why this name?
I think my music can be best described as devotional. Perhaps you can think of someone simply involved with worshiping his God for no other reason than to express his faith and thankfulness to Him. For it is He who loves and keeps him.
Do you play live?
Currently I am playing rhytm/lead guitar in our worship group and sometimes I lead worship in our fellowship. I like it when the fragrance of our voices and music are being inhabited by God as He promises to inhabit the praises of His people. This changes us and causes us to reach a place of wonder and deeper involvement with the Creator of all things.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is easy, it is simple and it opens doors to communicate your music to everyone interested and with access to the Web.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not sure about that.
Band History:
Just started 24 September 2005
Your influences?
Classical music(Bach, Mozart), ethnic music, I like the music from Britanny, the Balkans, and Ireland. I like the songs from Paul Baloche, Ruben Morgan, Mark Altrogge, Terry MacAlmon.
Favorite spot?
Dublin
Equipment used:
Humble stuff, Yahama mb12/4 mixer, Roland JV30, G70, Cubasis, Reason, Magix, M-Audio 1010lt
Anything else...?
Why have I not added my vocals? Because I think my singing is not that great I haven't put it on except in 'Hiding Place' and 'He's Coming'. If you would like to help out, send me an email and we can take it from there.
Thanks for taking an interest in my stuff.
