Introspection
Music was and still is regarded by some as the highest art form.It is only through experimentation that the musician / artist can grow. Some experiments will yield limited returns while others will open countless new paths and possibilities. This page is an outlet for some of those experimental ideas of mine.
Why this name?
It was a nick name given to me by a true tonemeister while I was studying recording and music.
Do you play live?
I am currently in the preliminary stages of planning a touring show.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It provides an audience for many ideas that would otherwise most likely remain unheard. Writing for an audience is different than writing for one's self.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That would be the ultimate challenge, to combine the business and the artistic aspects successfuly. In such a competitive world with so many talented artists I would consider it a tremendous honor.
Band History:
I have been performing, composing and producing music for almost thirty years now. I enjoy the challenges that changing musical tastes throw my way. From classical to electonic, from medieval to rock or rap, there is no genre that I would not consider delving into.
Your influences?
From Shubert to Rimsky-Korsakov to David Bowie to CSNY to elevator music. My influences are very varied and eclectic but they manifest themselves in the most disguised way these days.
Favorite spot?
I live in Palm Beach County Florida but there is a Greek island and a Colorado mountaintop I keep thinking about....
Equipment used:
I have more toys than I could ever find time to fully explore. I like the warmth of Analog sound and the capabilities of digital.
