Why this name?
Balantz is a name formed to discribe balance. We all need balance from nature to work to family and the hustle and bustle of life. It also describes our music and it's crossing of many genres from rock to country, acoustic to metal to easy listening.
Do you play live?
We've played Freebird Live in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Skynyrd Tribute weekends with Frynds in Jacksonville, FL. Balantz has also played various other night clubs, bars and partys in Jacksonville and Daytona, FL area. We've also played acoustic shows on the internet program Paltalk. There are many times someone says... "can you play me that song? you know, the one y'all wrote". hehehehe
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has really opened the door for real musicians to be heard. Not just cause a record company or radio station says here it is. A true opportunity to let the music speak for itself.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends?
